How You Get Paid!

At Faba Films, we believe in rewarding creators—not platforms. That’s why we’ve built a system that ensures 100% of ad revenue goes directly to the filmmakers.

💰 How It Works:

1. Ads & Surveys Power the Revenue
During our online festival, we display in-stream video ads and occasionally surveys on the Faba Films platform. These ads run before or during film viewings, and generate revenue based on viewer engagement.

2. Festival Period = Revenue Window
Each film’s revenue is tracked during the official duration of the festival:

  • Standard Entries: 30-day revenue window

  • Winning Films: 60-day revenue window

3. 100% Goes to You
After the festival ends, we calculate the total ad revenue your film generated. Once we close the books on the festival period, you receive 100% of your film’s ad revenue. No hidden fees, no platform cuts.

What You Need to Do:

  • Submit your film through our application form via Filmfreeway

  • Agree to our Terms of Service & Revenue Guidelines

  • Make sure your payment details are up to date

We’ll handle the rest—from ad placement to final payout.

Transparency & Trust

All filmmakers receive a breakdown of their ad revenue after the festival ends. We're committed to fairness, transparency, and keeping artists in control of their earnings.

💸 Potential Earnings Calculator

Want to know how much you can earn by sharing your film on Faba Films?
Here's a general breakdown to help you estimate your potential earnings—with zero platform cuts.

1. Surveys (Pre-Roll or Post-Film):

  • You earn an average of $0.30 to $1+ per completed survey shown before or after your film.

  • Revenue depends on viewer completion rates and the number of views.

2. In-Video Ads (CPM-Based):

  • You earn $25–$35+ per 1,000 ad impressions (CPM).

  • That averages around $0.03 per view.

However, unlike other platforms:

  • YouTube takes 45% of ad revenue, often paying creators just $2–$12 per 1,000 views.

  • Faba Films takes 0%. You keep 100% of what your film earns.
