Publishing License

This Publishing License outlines the terms under which authors grant Faba Books the right to host, distribute, and monetize their content.

1. Grant of License

By uploading content to Faba Books, you grant Faba the following:

  • Non-exclusive publishing license

  • Worldwide release

  • We may host, display, distribute, and promote your content across our platform, social media, and email marketing

  • Convert your content into different formats (including audiobook and translations)

  • Monetize your content through advertising


You retain full ownership of your work at all times.


2. License Duration

The license is granted for the duration of your selected publishing plan (“Duration Plan”) and  inlcudes the following: 

  • Your content will remain live and monetized for the active duration of your plan

  • Duration Plans may vary (e.g., monthly, yearly, promotional, or custom terms)

  • Content may be removed or paused if it violates our Publishing Policy

  • Renewals are required to remain active on the platform, but are never automated. You may receive an email notification 7 days prior to your expiration date.


3. License Changes & Flexibility

Faba Books reserves the right to the following:

  • Modify pricing, features, and duration lengths of all publishing licenses at any time

  • Introduce new licenses, tiers, or promotional offerings

  • Adjust availability or structure of existing licenses

Important:

  • Changes will not retroactively affect active plans

  • However, renewals or future purchases will be subject to the updated pricing and durations


By continuing to use the platform, authors agree to comply with the current license terms at the time of renewal or purchase.


4. Earnings During License Period

Authors may earn during the active license period based on:

  • Reader engagement

  • Valid ad interactions

  • Platform monetization performance (ePMR)


Disclaimer:
Earnings are variable and not guaranteed, as revenue depends on factors such as ad engagement and completion, audience quality and behavior, platform conditions, and advertiser demand; Faba Books may also adjust or withhold earnings in cases of invalid traffic, policy violations, or fraudulent or artificial engagement.


5. Content Removal & Termination

Authors may request content removal, however, removal may not be immediate due to active sessions, platform caching, or ongoing monetization cycles. Faba Books reserves the right to remove content at any time for policy violations and to suspend or terminate licenses in cases of abuse or non-compliance.


6. Non-exlcusive Publishing License

You are free to publish your work elsewhere, Faba books does not require exclusivity and you are welcome to remove your content at any time. 


7. Platform Rights During Publishing License

During the active license period, Faba Books may:

  • Promote your content across its platform and marketing channels

  • Optimize ad placements and monetization strategies

  • Enhance accessibility (audio, translations, formats)

These actions are intended to maximize both reach and potential earnings.


8. Terms of Acceptance 

By publishing on Faba Books, you acknowledge the following:

  • You understand and accept the duration-based licensing model

  • Pricing and license structures may change over time

  • Future participation is subject to current terms at the time of renewal


9. Our Goal
