Welcome to Faba Films! By using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Faba Films – Viewer Terms of Service
By accessing and using the FABA Films streaming platform, you agree to the following terms:
1. Personal Use Only
All films are available for personal, non-commercial viewing only. Redistribution, downloading, screen recording, or public exhibition is strictly prohibited.
2. Respect for Creators
These films are original works by independent filmmakers. Do not share, copy, or alter any content without express permission from the copyright holder.
3. No Offensive Behavior
Comments, reviews, or interactions must remain respectful. Harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate content will result in removal and possible ban from the platform.
4. Account Responsibility
If you create a profile, you are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share login information.
5. Platform Access
FABA Films may update, pause, or remove content at any time. Access is provided “as-is” with no guarantees of availability or performance.
6. Privacy
We collect minimal data to personalize your experience. We do not sell your information.
7. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our platform.
By continuing to use FABA Films, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Faba Films Submission Agreement
By submitting your film to FABA Films, you (the submitter) confirm and agree to the following:
1. Ownership & Rights
You are the creator, rights holder, or authorized representative of the submitted work. You have secured all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the public exhibition and online streaming of the film and trailer, including:
Music (original or licensed)
Archival or third-party footage
Images, artwork, and graphics
Script and story content
Talent releases (actors, performers, voiceovers)
2. Streaming Permission
You grant FABA Films non-exclusive rights to stream your film and trailer on our platform. You retain full ownership of your work and may distribute it elsewhere at any time. You also have the right to request the removal of your film from FABA Films at any point, particularly if needed for other distribution agreements or platform exclusivity.
3. Copyright Compliance
You understand that FABA Films is a peer-reviewed, public platform and does not independently verify copyright ownership. If a submitted film is flagged for copyright infringement or unauthorized content, FABA Films reserves the right to remove it from the platform.
4. Liability Waiver
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FABA Films, its organizers, and partners from any legal claims, liabilities, damages, or costs resulting from any breach of copyright or licensing violations related to your submission.
5. Non-Exclusive License
By submitting your film to FABA Films, you agree to a non-exclusive license. Upon approval, your film enters its elected streaming timeline while you retain 100% ownership and control. You are free to distribute your film elsewhere at any time and may request removal from our platform for any reason by emailing submissions@fabafilms.com or utilizing our contact form. As a true For Artists, By Artists platform, we believe filmmakers should decide when and how their work is streamed and viewed.
Accessibility & Subtitles Disclaimer
FABA Films is a free, peer-reviewed streaming platform where all films are uploaded directly by the filmmakers. As such, we do not guarantee the availability of closed captions or subtitles on all content. Because we are a free and independent platform, we are not legally obligated to provide closed captioning under current U.S. law (per FCC guidelines regarding non-commercial, user-generated content).
