Streaming Policy

By submitting your film to stream via Faba Films streaming platform, you agree to the following terms: 


1. Submission & Refund Policy

Film submissions are free of charge. If your film is accepted, we may offer a non-exclusive streaming license for a term of one month, three months, or one year, at no cost to you.

At the end of the offered license term, if a renewal license is not extended by us, you will have the option to purchase a renewal to continue streaming your film on the platform.

If you choose to purchase a renewal license and later decide to remove your film from the platform before the end of the paid license term, you may do so at any time. However, all payments are final and no refunds will be issued, regardless of early removal.

Submission fees are not required. Any fees paid apply only to voluntary license renewals and support platform operations, hosting, evaluation, and promotional infrastructure.


2. Eligibility & Denial Criteria

Your film may be denied for the following reasons: 

  • Film is not in English and does not have English subtitles 

  • Contains explicit pornographic content 

  • Trailer exceeds 60 seconds in runtime Poor video or audio quality in the film and/or trailer Missing or improperly formatted required materials, including: 

    • Plot synopsis (must be under 400 characters) 

    • Film poster not sized to 1728 x 2304 pixels 

3. Review Timeline 

Upon submission, your film will remain under review for up to 30 days. If denied, you will be granted 30 days to make the necessary corrections and resubmit. Once resubmitted, we reserve an additional 30 days to re-review and approve or deny. 


4. Revenue & Payouts Free Trial Run

100% of your ad revenue will be donated to the Audience Choice Award fund. 

  • 3 Month Streaming Run: You will receive 100% of your ad revenue through the PayPal account you provide. 

    • Minimum payout threshold is $15. If you do not reach $15, your revenue will be forfeited and added to the Audience Choice Award pot for that month. 

    • No rollovers or accumulations will be carried into future months. 

    • Payouts may be withheld for up to 90 days after the eligibility threshold is met for verification and processing. 

  • 1-Year Streaming Run: You will receive 100% of your ad revenue through the PayPal account you provide. 

    • Minimum payout threshold is $15, accumulated over the 12-month period. 

    • Payouts may be withheld for up to 90 days after the eligibility threshold is met for verification and processing. 

5. General Terms

By submitting, you confirm that you hold all the rights necessary to publicly screen your film. You acknowledge that all films are subject to internal and technical review before publishing. You must be the director, writer, or producer of the film. Third-party submissions will be denied. 


6. Non-Exclusive License 

By submitting your film to Faba Films, you agree to a non-exclusive license. Upon approval, your film enters its elected streaming timeline while you retain 100% ownership and control. You are free to distribute your film elsewhere at any time and may request removal from our platform for any reason by emailing submissions@fabafilms.com or utilizing our contact form. As a true For Artists, By Artists platform, we believe filmmakers should decide when and how their work is streamed and viewed. 


7. Current and Future Promotions 

By submitting your film to stream on our platform, you grant Faba Films ongoing permission to use your film’s poster, trailer, and Faba Films page in future promotional materials, whether or not your film is currently streaming.
