Faba Books uses one type of high-rewarding advertisement revenue, with 100% of ad revenue paid directly to the artist:​

Viewers must watch a rewarded ad every 5 to 10 pages, maximizing your revenue potential while keeping the reader engaged and user experience well maintained. 

 

Payouts

Payments occur during the first week of each month, with a $15 minimum threshold. If your book does not meet the threshold, earnings automatically roll over until the minimum is reached, as long as your book remains on the platform. Payouts are made exclusively via PayPal (fees vary by country). We operate in the United States, so please ensure there are no local sanctions that could affect your payout.

100% Goes to You
After the monthly cycle ends, we calculate the total ad revenue your book generated, you'll receive 100% of your book's ad revenue. As our platform grows, we may shift to a quarterly payout. As for now, we intend monthly payouts.

Potential Earnings Breakdown

Instead of relying on a small percentage of buyers, you earn from every reader who engages with your book.​

Faba Books is built on a smarter earnings metric called ePMR: Earnings Per 1000 Reads.

Below are two examples:

  • ePMR = $200 per 1000 completed reads of a 200 page book

  • ePMR = $300 per 1000 completed reads of a 300 page book

We typically insert 10 rewarded-ads per 100 pages, earning you the most while also giving your reader the best user experience.

Why $Free.99 will always beat $9.99

According to Stastica and Apollo.Reads: 

  • Only 0.5% of readers will buy a $9.99 book from an unknown author

  • At $2.99, that only rises to ~1.2%

​

But when your book is free and positioned correctly:

  • Up to 65% of people show interest

  • Around 29% actually complete the read

 

That means for every 1000 people you promote to, you should get 143 full reads on a 200-page book, bringing your revenue to $28.60.

Now Scale That

Most successful authors promote their books with paid social media. On average, it costs about $2–$6 to reach 1,000 readers, with a typical spend of around $4. From that, you could generate roughly $24.60 in profit.

As you scale, the results compound. A $40 spend could return about $246, while $400 could generate around $2,460. That’s just one cycle. Now imagine repeating that consistently each month.
