All Films Welcome

Whether it's feature-length, shorts, micro films, comedy specials, web series, or something totally out-of-the-box—we want it. If you made it, and it tells a story, Faba wants to stream it. No genre limits. Just pure, independent film. Submit your work. We’ll make space for it.

Submission Process:

Faba Films is an artist-powered streaming platform built for filmmakers to share their work, earn revenue, and grow through community. Here’s how it works:

1. Submit Your Film

You can submit one or multiple films directly through our platform.

To begin, create your free Artist Account and start uploading film materials.

Once submitted, our team will review your film within 30 days. Your submission will either be accepted as-is or returned with a request for additional materials or edits.

2. Acceptance & Streaming

If accepted, your film will go live on the first day of the following month. All films stream on a non-exclusive basis, meaning you retain full ownership and distribution rights.

3. Free Streaming Offers

Submitting your film is always free.

Based on marketability and programming needs, we may offer your film a non-exclusive streaming license for:

  • One month

  • Three months

  • One year

You can read more about our non-exclusive streaming licenses here.

4. Paid Streaming Options

If your film is not offered a free streaming license, you may still choose to stream it on our platform through a paid option:

  • 3-month streaming run: $45

  • 1-year streaming run: $120

These options include full platform access, audience voting eligibility, and monetization.

5. Audience Choice Award

Every film on the platform is eligible for our monthly Audience Choice Award.

The film with the most votes by the end of the month wins a one-year streaming run at no additional cost.

6. What our platform offers

As a Faba Films verified artist, you receive access to:

  • Self-distribution with 100% of your ad revenue

  • Community forums for collaboration and discussion

  • Peer reviews from verified artists

  • Verified artist messaging system

  • Free promotional materials

  • Downloadable logos and laurels

Our platform is designed to support growth, feedback, and visibility without gatekeeping.

7. Advertisements & Revenue

Faba Films uses three advertisement avenues to generate revenue, with 100% of ad revenue paid directly to the artist:

  1. In-stream Ads: A single 30-second ad plays before your film, followed by uninterrupted viewing.

  2. Rewarded Ads: (Audience Choice voting): Viewers watch a short ad before casting a vote for your film.

  3. Rewarded Ads: (Peer reviews): Verified artists watch an ad before submitting a review on your film.

Payouts occur during the first week of each month, with a $15 minimum threshold.

If your film does not meet the threshold in a given month, earnings automatically roll over until the minimum is reached, as long as your film remains on the platform.

Judge. Stream. Be seen.

By submitting your film to Faba Films, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

You must be the sole creator of the submitted work—this means you are either the writer, director, and/or producer of the film. Submitting films that you do not fully own or were not directly responsible for creating will result in immediate disqualification and a permanent ban from our platform.

No release date restrictions. Whether it’s brand new or from a decade ago, if it’s your story, it belongs here.

All films must be in English or have English subtitles to ensure accessibility for our audience. Submissions that do not meet this requirement will be rejected. We currently have closed-captioning in the testing stages. While we suggest English subtitles, they are only mandatory on the trailer, and the film itself does not have to have subtitles.

We are not currently accepting pornographic films. While we respect artistic expression, we do not allow content that is explicitly pornographic in nature. Submissions violating this rule will be rejected.

We are not accepting vertical films. Films that are not traditionally shot in a horizontal format will be rejected.

By submitting, you confirm that you hold all necessary rights to distribute the film and that your submission does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property laws.

Faba Films is a platform for artists, by artists. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of independent filmmaking. Any attempts to violate these guidelines will result in permanent removal from our community.

By submitting, you agree to these terms. Let’s keep indie film authentic.
