The Audience Choice Award is voted on by viewers and artists through poster “likes.” Voting closes at midnight (PST) on the last day of each month, and the film with the most likes wins. The winner will receive a 1 year streaming run on Faba Films as well as any available donated to the Audience Choice Award Fund.
Please make sure to create your free Faba Films artist profile. Under 'About Me', type up your short bio along with film credits. You can add short trailers, film posters, and stills that are 100% customizable. Watch the quick video below to learn how to upload your film credits on Faba.

It depends on the device you’re using. Many viewers cast directly from their phone or laptop using options like AirPlay or Chromecast. You can also connect your device to your TV with an HDMI cable. Compatibility varies by device, so we recommend checking your TV’s casting or screen-sharing settings for the best option.

If your film and trailer are not uploading , it’s usually due to one of the following things:
Viewer Troubleshooting Checklist
1. File size exceeds the 10 GB limit. You can download our free compressor here.(https://www.fabafilms.com/compressor)
2. Internet connection → Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi or have a stable mobile/data connection.
3. Browser compatibility → Try a different browser (Chrome) and make sure it’s updated.
4. Disable ad blockers / extensions → Some interfere with video players & VPN → Turn off VPN or try a different server, since some block playback.
5. Device check → Try another device (phone, tablet, computer, smart TV).
6. App/software updates → Update your device’s operating system or app if streaming via an app.
7. Restart device & router → Often fixes temporary streaming issues.
8. Clear cache & cookies → Old data may block playback.
9. Log out / log back in → Refreshes authentication and streaming access.

Faba Films Submission Agreement
By submitting your film to Faba Films, you (the submitter) confirm and agree to the following:
1. Ownership & Rights
You are the creator, rights holder, or authorized representative of the submitted work. You have secured all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the public exhibition and online streaming of the film and trailer, including:
• Music (original or licensed)
• Archival or third-party footage
• Images, artwork, and graphics
• Script and story content
• Talent releases (actors, performers, voiceovers)
2. Streaming Permission (if streaming option is selected)
You grant Faba Films non-exclusive rights to stream your film and trailer on our platform during the designated 30-day festival window. Winners grant permission for an extended 60-day streaming period. You retain full ownership of your work and may distribute it elsewhere at any time. You also have the right to request the removal of your film from Faba Films at any point, particularly if needed for other distribution agreements or platform exclusivity.
3. Copyright Compliance
You understand that Faba Films is a peer-reviewed, public platform and does not independently verify copyright ownership. If a submitted film is flagged for copyright infringement or unauthorized content, Faba Films reserves the right to disqualify and remove it from the platform.
4. Liability Waiver
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Faba Films, its organizers, and partners from any legal claims, liabilities, damages, or costs resulting from any breach of copyright or licensing violations related to your submission.

• Take a screen recording of you voting for the Audience Choice Award by liking your poster
Always share as a reel and invite us @faba.films to be a collaborator. We suggest posting at least once a week, but if you can post more, please do so. The more you share content around your film, the more ad revenue your film brings in.

No, Faba Films operates under a non-exclusive license. Upon approval, your film enters its elected streaming timeline while you retain 100% ownership and control. You are free to distribute your film elsewhere at any time and may request removal from our platform for any reason by emailing submissions@fabafilms.com or utilizing our contact form. As a true For Artists, By Artists platform, we believe filmmakers should decide when and how their work is streamed and viewed.
