Plot Synopsis

Earlier this year, Mx. Remy gave their English classes one simple assignment:

“Tell us who you really are.”

There were no rules. They could use any form they wanted: art, dance, short film, collage, poem, music. As long as it was honest.

None of them turned it in.

So their English teacher failed them. Now, they’re stuck in summer school with one final chance. One week to complete the project. One week to figure out how to be seen.

The classroom is the same, but something’s shifted.

Months earlier, they lost a classmate, one of their own. No one talks about it.

But the grief lingers, quietly touching everything.

Over the next week, through awkward starts, unexpected connections, and moments of honesty, they begin to see not just each other, but themselves. And by the time the final day arrives, their projects don’t just answer the prompt, they reveal everything they were afraid to say.

No claps. No corrections. Just quiet truth.

Five voices. One shared silence.
